Angela: hi! How are you?
Diana: I’m very well.
Angela: why?
Diana: because I was very happy in Christmas.
Angela: tell me, who is Christmas in northland?
Diana: we are in family for any event.
Angela: do you make manger?
Diana: off course, and we have a delicious dish. We cocked stuffed duck or turkey with apple sauce and the dessert is plum pudding.
Angela: oh, is fantastic.
Diana: yes, but the most curious is After the Christmas evening because people put meal, bread and milk outside of their house with symbol of hospitality.
Who is your Christmas in Colombia?
Angela: is very similar we are also in family and we make the Christmas tree with gifs around and we make the manger.
Diana: what do you eat in Christmas?
Angela: we eat turkey whit plum sauce or a delicious ajiaco.
Also we drink beer, aguardiente or wine for all night.
People leave at house to sing in the street and we share food.
I like the
music and when I choose some generic or band I think that is very difficult
because everything the music is fantastic and the singers or groups are different
but they are similar of impotents. In the music’s generic I like the protest
music because is a social denounce about in the world in that we live. The letters
tell the reality through the music. Singers as silvio Rodriguez, Pablo, Milanes
Mercedes Sosa are the best represents in Latino America.
However in
this case I choose the group sui generis.
Sui generis
was an argentine group This group was conform by Charly Garcia y nito mestre but then other
singers arrive with the time, as fito paez, calamaro, juan Rodriguez rinaldo
rafalleni and more. Sui generis began in 1969 and they singed rock music with a
social and idealistic normal style for the time.
This group
has been the first in begins with the Spanish rock in America and although that this band don’t exist
in this moment was a big group, the best in America. They was famous with the
movie the pencil’s night because they was soundtrack with the song “scratches
the stones”.
I have
selected this band because I think that they have gathered the cinema, the
music and the society in one.
